A synthetic anabolic steroid derived from
Dihydrotestosterone, Winstrol or Stanozolol is a drug known to have fat
reducing effects. This fat loss drug is also admired for having a high oral
bioavailability that helps it survive first-pass liver metabolism when ingested
because of a C17 a-alkylation.
Classified as a controlled substance under the Anabolic
Steroids Control Act of 1990 and assigned to Schedule III, Winstrol is
generally used by those into bodybuilding and athletics to gain lean muscle
mass and lose stubborn belly fat. Winstrol reduces the level of high-density
lipoproteins and improves the level of low-density lipoproteins.
This drug is also beneficial for it s its
diuretic properties since Winstrol has the potential of improving the excretion
of water from the body while improving body strength and the best part is that
this positive effect is without causing an increase in the level of body
weight. In addition to these advantages, Winstrol can be used to utilizing more
amounts of Testosterone for burning excess fat tissues and stimulating the
production of prostaglandin E2 and the matrix metalloproteases collegenase and
stromelysin in skin fibroblasts.
Winstrol abuse can result in increased or decreased libido,
habituation, excitation, insomnia, and depression. Abuse of this drug may even
be a reason behind nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Winstrol overdosing can lead
to the inhibition of testicular function, testicular atrophy and oligospermia,
chronic priapism, epididymitis & bladder irritability, and edema. Winstrol
is not advised to pregnant or lactating women or those who may get pregnant
while using it. This fat loss drug is also not recommended for those diagnosed
with testicular atrophy, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer,
liver damage, kidney damage, stroke, high blood pressure, or respiratory
problems.
However, these side effects of Winstrol can be prevented in
the first place itself if Winstrol is purchased legally from a reputed steroid
store with a valid prescription. Winstrol should always be used for medicinal
purposes, under the strict supervision of a qualified medical practitioner.
